EqD Event 2013 Submissions - Day 3

Puttin' this up ASAP, since I'm so happy with how it turned out (though I should be sleeping). For today's "costume/suit pony" NATG prompt, I started a warm-up on some messed-up printer paper (note the junk lettering in the background), but a single throwaway doodle became an all-around better idea than some poorly-executed legal pun. Everything became a happy blur after that; as usual, I inked with Sakura pens, and then I shaded with mechanical pencils, added dabs of Prismacolor markers, and cleaned up/added effects with a white Signo gel-pen. I tidied up the scan in Adobe Photoshop using curves and down-sampling, and while I'm slightly disappointed in the obviousness of the white ink in certain areas, the giddiness I got from actually making this picture makes it all worth it.
