EqD Event 3 Submissions - Day 15

Whoo, half-way done with EqD's NATG! Day 15's prompt revolved around "a pony being puzzled", and I was among many of the folks who immediately thought of actual, physical assembly, rather than quizzes or curiosity. I didn't have much time to draw that day, so I just wanted to break something and have a pony fix it in some way. That broken object became a record, and Vinyl Scratch as the subject followed.

I'm happy that the adhesive tape joke worked out, but there's no question that I cut plenty of corners during production. Not only is there no background, but the composition originally called for an overhead shot, with Vinyl reclined and joining record pieces jigsaw-style. I also botched the muzzle like I botch human noses, so those have higher priorities on my list of things to practice.
